NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
1. Rezoning of Land Legally Described as Lot 1, District Lot 119, Esquimalt District, Plan 44757

Zoning Regulation Bylaw, Ammendment Bylaw (No. 849) - No. 10-047:
To ammend the Zoning Regulation Bylaw
(a) to create an MS-6 Zone, Lime Bay District, and to limit the use of land within that Zone to: clubs, principally engaged in water-related activities; docks, wharves and piers; parks and accessory uses; restaurants; ship chandlers; and the storage, repair and supply of marinje equipment; all as more fully set out in the regulations made applicable to the MS-6 Zone;
(b) to apply new regulations within the MS-6 Zone for the location within that Zone of buildings, structures, docks, wharves or piers or similar structures;
(c) to establish new regulations within the MS-6 Zone for the maximum height of a building, the maximum floor space ratio for buildings, and setbacks;
(d) to rezone the land legally described as Lot 1, District Lot 119, Esquimalt District, Plan 44757, to the MS-6 Zone to ensure that the development and use of that land is compatible with neighboring uses.
Exisiting Zones:
M-3 Zone, Heavy industrial District (the area hatched on the sketch included with this notice and that is labelled "M-3"); and
VHP Zone, Victoria Harbour Park District (the area cross-hatched on the sketch that is included with this notice and that is labelled "VHP")
New Zones:
MS-6 Zone, Lime bay District

All those who believe that their interest in property is affected by the above matters will be given an opportunity to be heard by City Council at a Public Hearing to be held in the Council Chamber, City Hall, #1 Centennial Square, Victoria, BC on Tuesday, September 07, 2010 at 5 p.m.
Please note that all correspondence submitted to the City of Victoria in response to this notice will form part of the public record and will be published in a meeting agenda when this matter is before the Council or a Committee of Council. The City considers the author's address relevant to Council's consideration of this matter and will disclose this personal information. The author's phone number and email address is not relevant and should not be included in the correspondence if the author does not wish this personal information disclosed.
Copies of the proposed Bylaws and other relevant documents and information may be inspected at City Hall, #1 Centennial Square, Victoria, BC from the date of this notice to and including the date of the Public Hearing, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., from Monday to Friday both inclusive, excluding public holidays.
